Slowly but surely

I guess you could say I'm getting a little pooch at this point. I've gained about 6lbs and most of my adorably sexy pants fit everywhere but the tummy.

But I don't want to talk about the baby right now. This is an exceptional time in the pregnancy where you don't even know you are pregnant and I really like it. My energy is up and I'm devoting most of my spare time to school -- which is good since I recently received confirmation that yes, in fact, I am graduating in a few weeks.

I feel totally apathetic about it and that's probably because right now, as is the norm at the end of the term, I am slaving away to finish the project I'm currently working on. It's pretty good and I'm confident I'll get an A, which should very easily allow me to graduate with highest distinction just as I planned.

The graduation itself is probably something I'll skip seeing as how it's on a Friday and I have to be there at 8:30 and it goes until 2. The only reason I can think to go is to get out of going to work for the day, but after cutting back to four days a week, I could probably use the money associated with slaving away for a Friday.

I think as overwhelmed as crazy stressed as I have felt while going to school I am definitely going to miss the flurry of activity that comes with working your ass off towards a goal. I had a free day this weekend for the first time in a month and couldn't think of anything to do because I'd already unpacked and cleaned the entire house and seen a movie. I think I'm just one of those people who's bound and determined to have an overly busy life, and while it can be exhausting I can't say I relish the idea of just sitting around on my duff.

Unless I'm camping or sitting around a bbq, and until I have my own space with a yard, that's something that will have to wait.

Speaking of houses, the one on my sister's block is still for sale. They continue to lower the price but not so much as to make it affordable to us. Maybe in 8 months or so. We'll keep watching it I guess and see how things go.

Soon I will have nothing but time and I'll post more. For now I will continue pursuing my masters until I have something in writing. Just a few more weeks and it will be completely finished. How weird.
