Something nice.

Some lady in my office just had a delivery of flowers from her husband who is out of town taking care of his sick mother.

He sent her flowers during her appointment because she has a very serious phobia of the dentist and he normally comes with her and holds her hand to calm her down. He was so proud of her for coming in on her own (with the help of our good friend Valium) and he felt so bad for not being able to take care of her that he had the flowers delivered to let her know that he was thinking of her from all the way across the country during her appointment.

Now that, is very sweet.

That gives me hope.
